VT=35, ohio state=21, is Frank’s biggest win … since when???

Loooooooong time coming folks!
Shew!

After two rather sagging seasons, Virginia Tech and Frank Beamer needed this one “like a dead-man needs a coffin”

Though just how big was this 19.5 point Vegas point-spread and highly upsetting Hokie win???

Upsetting "the" Ohio State @Columbus is Frank's biggest win .... since???

      1. Ah.

Also, I live & work in OH. I was telling my smug coworkers all week that this would be the result.
        Work should be fun Monday.

  1. Have to admit I didn’t think we would win. That’s “would” not “could.” Too many heartbreaks, I guess.

What sorts of analyses of the game do you have planned?

  2. Yea, this is the biggest win IMHO . I think the next biggest was the UVA comeback in 95 . Texas was big but that was a bowl game and teams have different motivations during those but to go to OSU and beat them early in the year a team that has NC aspirations and one of if not the best coaches in CFB history is huge . Urbans losses at home at OSU and UF are almost non existent . They have better talent and we got it done . We are going to be dangerous with Brewer and all the toys that Scott has becaues we got a guy who can execute the game plan and is a natural leader. Should be a fun season !!!!!!

  3. BSt,

This win is the biggest W for this generation of Hokie fans. Something my kids needed to see and enjoy. (Ages: 17, 15, 13 and all at the game with me!)

Us older Hokie fans have other wins. WVU, UVA, Texas, Miami etc. that we remember. The younger group does not have a “signature” W and this one fits the bill.
