A very good SEC team here folks. Some are picking this bunch as the SEC winner, and
they just may have the fastest team in the whole Southeastern Conference. When you can say that, you can say “hello” to a great football season most of the time. But I’m a little undersold on this War Eagle crew.

13th, Auburn Tigers (SEC): Auburn is a very good team playing in the very toughest
conference in the land. Bo JacksonU does have 9 back on offense this year, lead by 5 returning starters on the Tigers OLine blocking for 3 different Rb’s who all had at least 448 on the ground last year. Qb is a concern as Kodi Burns is very raw and does

not seem like a very accurate passer, so we all need to wait to see what becomes of his all-important passing ratio (TD’s:INT’s) this year. Even more so when you consider Auburn lacks playmakers at Wr, even though 2 of 3 do return. On defense the Tigers right-side DLine is 100% gone, as are 3 of 4 secondary starters. This presents opponents with clear-cut choices of where to attack Auburn. Linebacker is also a bit shaky, and be aware that this 2008 Tiger defense only has 2 senior starters. The Tigers do have 2 quality sophomore specialist, and perhaps the best all-round Punt game in the SEC. Auburn also must combat a very tough 2008 schedule both in conference (though AU does get most of their tough SEC games at home) and OOC (wvu will beat Auburn, you may BOOK IT!!!). Strengths= Running game and home schedule. Needs to improve=Passing game, defensive inexperience and kickoff returns.
