  1. B/street –

Suggest you start with any Penn State players that VT may sign/transfer in. Also, would like to know if Shane Beamer contacted the RB, Redd, from Penn State and if VT contacted any of the other PS players.

    1. @slim:

I hear the Rb is: “a no go”.
I hear several P.S.U. guys have contacted VT.

  2. Beckley? What’s the deal with doing a VT show from Beckley? What’s that, 2 hours+ from the ‘burg, and halfway to Charleston. What’re those ‘Eers interested in, having a Hokie talk show in their midst?

    Just curious.

    1. @OandM:

Well, I suspect that that is it precisely.

The southern part of the 3o4 is much more Hokie rich than the northern part or either panhandle is. And VT is closer to Beckley than wvu.

  3. Agree with the Pilot, would like to hear about the status of special teams coming into the season. Also, would be interesting to get a story on the logistics and day to day activities of the coaches who recruit these highly touted guys like Shane and Stiney, i.e. what goes into landing a Fuller. Thanks guys…

    1. @ Doc, VB, and Pilot:

Bear with me, as we will get there on that ST’s request.

Although I wanna hear how the 3 rookie Punters are on-campus in
the live fire practices and closed scrimmages alike first. I’m hearing very good things on all of these kids. The left-footer from Indy (Indiana) in particular has peeked my interest. And the Windmuller P outta the D.C. (see: below pic) area only averaged 48 per punt. And that’s not even counting the 1st-team all-state Florida kid.

As we *should* now have 3 very solid Punters presuming Branthover has improved.

  4. I don’t know b-street. I may have a hard time understanding the show if it’s like your articles. I’m not that quick on the uptake sometimes. jk

  5. Wow, I am excited to hear of New Blood at Punting. Branthover blew it, he was just horrible. May he end up somewhere else, with an Orthodontist to boot, pun intended.

  6. WVU beat Clemson so badly, what would happen to VT? How did that happen? Will VT learn something from that thrashing?

  7. Trying to listen, but the 102 link goes to national ESPN radio feed, not the local one. Any help?

    1. Did it?

Ok. I did not know that.
      Reporting that now———->b’street
